Babysitting and Starch
Apr. 18th, 2014 01:42 pmTesting is underway for the starch battery! We pretty much genetically modified a potato to consist of nothing but starch and I think it's going to power what we want to it. I'll have to try the batches with different amped objects and then see how long each one takes, and the experimentation process for that is going to take a while, but we're moving forward!
The word bank for the cat translator is slow moving progress though :( Apparently, our test cats are pretty reticent, which sucks. But whatever, I'm resigned to me not being able to finish this by the end of the year...it doesn't look too bright for the translator future.
Another thing that isn't bright for my future is that nii-san wants to foist his kid off on me for their anniversary in a week's time...it cries a lot. And won't sit still. I can barely deal with it for ten minutes, let alone a whole night. I don't know what I'm going to do >>;
